Celebs Re-record "We Are The World"

Many celebrities gathered at Jim Henson Studios on Los Angeles on Monday (February 1st) to re-record the iconic 1985 charity single, “We Are the World.” This year the song will be celebrating it's 25th Anniversary and various stars including, Jennifer Hudson, Kanye West, Usher, will. i.am, Brandy, Toni Braxton, Barbra Streisand, LL Cool J, Wyclef Jean, India.Arie, Lil Wanye and more showed up for the recording to raise money for Haiti.

“This one, the enthusiasm, I’ve never seen anything like it,” says Lionel Richie, who co-wrote the original song with Michael Jackson, and oversaw the new version with music legend Quincy Jones.

The video is expected to be released in a couple weeks.
